When reporting a product issue, include:
- The calculator or guide page involved
- The browser and device type
- The visible error message or unexpected behavior
- Steps that reproduce the issue without including confidential information
Calculator share URLs can contain exact financial assumptions in the query string. Do not send a share URL if its inputs are sensitive, confidential, or personally identifying. A plain description of the issue is usually enough.
What not to send
Do not email passwords, access tokens, payment-card data, government identifiers, private keys, confidential property documents, or other sensitive personal information.
